Agreement

By using Heliora, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Heliora is operated by Purple Hedgehog LLC.

Nature of the service

Heliora provides solar weather data, assessments, and alerts. It is a monitoring and analysis tool. Heliora does not make operational decisions on your behalf. The operator -- you -- makes all decisions. Heliora provides information to support those decisions.

Limitation of liability

Heliora is provided on an "as-is" basis. Purple Hedgehog LLC is not liable for any decisions made, or not made, based on Heliora data or assessments. Space weather prediction involves inherent uncertainty. Heliora's assessments are probabilistic, not guarantees.

In no event shall Purple Hedgehog LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Subscription and billing

  • Free tier -- no payment required, available indefinitely.
  • Professional -- $20/month or $200/year, billed via Stripe.
  • Enterprise -- $10,000/year, invoiced annually.
  • Bespoke -- custom pricing, governed by a separate agreement.

You may cancel any subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods. Annual subscriptions that are cancelled will retain access through the end of the paid year.

Data handling

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect minimal data, store it securely, and delete it promptly when you close your account.

API terms

API access is available on Enterprise and Bespoke tiers. API usage is subject to rate limits defined by your tier. Rate limits are documented in the API reference and may be adjusted with 30 days notice.

You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Heliora API without written permission from Purple Hedgehog LLC.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Heliora service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape data beyond your tier's API allowance.
  • Resell Heliora data or API access without authorization.
  • Interfere with the service's operation or other users' access.

Uptime and SLA

The Enterprise tier includes a 99.9% uptime SLA. Free and Professional tiers are provided on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 48 hours in advance.

Modifications to these terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
