Heliora is operated by Purple Hedgehog LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Heliora service.

• Email address -- required for account creation and notifications.
• Display name -- optional, shown in the UI.
• Location -- optional, stored as geomagnetic latitude only. Used to estimate aurora visibility.
• Anonymized usage data -- page views and feature usage, collected via first-party analytics only.
• Billing information -- processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

We never sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, ever. We do not use Google Analytics. We do not run ad network scripts. We do not share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.

• To operate and improve the Heliora service.
• To send you alerts you have configured.
• To send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts).
• To aggregate anonymized statistics about service usage.

Your data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 24 hours. Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely.

Heliora uses first-party analytics only. We do not load any third-party tracking scripts. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no ad network beacons. Your browsing behavior on Heliora stays on Heliora.

You have the right to:

• Access -- request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correct -- update or fix inaccurate information.
• Delete -- permanently remove your account and all associated data.
• Export -- receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@purplehedgehogai.com. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

Heliora uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. No tracking cookies. No third-party cookies.

We will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before any material changes to this policy take effect.
